This beautiful Tiki was hand carved and hand painted by an experienced artist with great attention to details. This beautiful Tiki statue was hand made out of solid Monkey Pod wood.

There are only 3 of the originals remaining in the world, all more than 6 feet tall. One is in the Bishop Museum, one in the British Museum and one in the Peabody Museum.

ORIGINAL: Bishop Museum, Hawai'i ; PROVENANCE: Hawai'i

Perfect for indoor or outdoors!

Manifestations of Mana are what Polynesian sculptors' desire most, and Mana is not easy to define. It is most commonly defined as "power" but it also means dignity, serenity. It sometimes means bravery and often implies humor and pride. But there is no evil, no cruelty in Mana.

Are you decorating your home Hawaiian style? Or do you simply want to add a little Polynesian atmosphere? This tiki sculpture would be a great addition to a tiki collection. It is a beautiful piece of Hawaiiana and a fine example of Oceanic Art!

Also a great gift idea with MUCH ALOHA...
