20" HAWAIIAN Turtle Carving, Honu Sculpture, Hand Carved Monkey Pod Wood

This turtle sculpture has been hand carved by a highly skilled carver, with great attention to detail. Locally, it is known as the HONU which is highly respected in Hawaii and the symbol of longevity all through the South Pacific Islands. It is carved out of a solid piece of Acacia wood (Monkey Pod). The turtle measures 20 inches long by 15 wide.
