Reverse Ulu Design - Hawaiian Quilted Bedspread

We have used the “Reverse” method of quilting this Bed Quilt. What appears to be the “Applique” or pattern is actually the background! On this quilt pictured the green is actually the cut out pattern layered over a cream background. Our Fabrics of choice are an elegant “Super Fine” blend of Cotton and just enough Polyester to give that regal feel to the Quilt, while offering for the first time on the market a very elegant Shantung Silk Bed Quilt with a texture that will elevate your bedroom appeal to the status of Hawaiian Royalty!!!

Each "Kapa" (Quilt in Hawaiian...) is hand quilted by Master Quilters taught in the traditional Hawaiian style of quilting. Each Quilt has over 250,000 stitches and average 6-8 stitches per inch. We appliqué the design using the hidden or "blind" stitch onto the background material. It is then quilted with a ripple or echo pattern. SPECIAL ORDERS:

We are happy to work in any color combination or size you desire. We also accept "Client's Own Material". This allows you to match your quilt to existing fabrics in your home.

We offer all size Quilts: Single, Twin, Full, King & Queen size. Each quilt comes with matching pillow shams. Our stock sizes for King and Queen are approximately 108" x 108" but we can hand quilt any size for you. To take your measurements simply take the measurement from the head of the bed to the foot allowing it to hang to the desired length. This is the first measurement or length; the width is taken by measuring side to side allowing the amount of hang on each side you would like. Based on your own measurements we can custom make your Quilt at no extra charge!

Color Options:

We are happy to make you a quilt in any color combination you'd like! Just a suggestion........ If white is one of your color selections, we suggest using "off white" (also referred to as Ecru, Ivory) as a base for your quilt. We do over 95% in off-white, it seems to show the workmanship better than white, which can be a bit stark.

On any item that is a special order, please allow up to 120 days for larger items and 60-90 days on smaller items. Please contact us directly to make your special order. You can tell us the size and color, and design preferred.
