This is an authentic TIGER KOA WOOD outrigger canoe paddle from Hawaii. It was carved out of rare TIGER KOA wood which has a beautiful grain and rich color, giving it a deep, 3D effect. KOA wood is increasingly hard to find today. Even though the moratorium on harvesting Koa wood has been lifted, it remains a scarce and highly sought after wood.(Paddle cost is dependent on the amount of color, curl, and character of the wood).

The paddle measures 5.1 FEET tall and the blade measures 18" X 12" and features a straight shaft. These functional handmade Hawaiian Canoe Paddles are beautiful pieces of Hawaiiana and perfect to be displayed in your home or office.
