This is a hand carved Tiki depicting Ku & Akua, Tiki of strength but also Akua, Tiki of health. This Tiki totem has also a double meaning, which can be distinguished by the set of eyes going upward and downward.
This Tiki pole measures 20 inches tall and 4 inches thick. Hand Carved of premium Acacia Koa wood.
Manifestations of Mana are what Polynesian sculptors' desire most, and Mana is not easy to define. It is most commonly defined as "power" but it also means dignity, serenity. It sometimes means bravery and often implies humor and pride. But there is no evil, no cruelty in Mana.
Are you decorating your home Hawaiian style? Or do you simply want to add a little Polynesian atmosphere? This tiki sculpture would be a great addition to a tiki collection. It is a beautiful piece of Hawaiiana and a fine example of Oceanic Art!
Also a great gift idea with MUCH ALOHA...
