This is an authentic KOA WOOD LONGBOARD. It was hand made in Hawaii from a classic 1960's design. It is carved out of rare Koa wood which is hard to find today. Even though the moratorium on harvesting Koa wood has been lifted, it remains a highly sought after and scarce wood.(Paddle cost is dependent on the amount of color, curl, and character of the wood).
