 HAWAIIAN STYLE HAND QUILTED BEDSPREADSSome of our most popular Hawaiian decorating items are the beautiful hand quilted bed spreads. Every "Kapa" is hand quilted by Master quilters taught in the traditional Hawaiian style of quilting. Each quilt has over 250,000 stitches and average 6-8 stitches per inch. The term “Hawaiian Quilt” refers to the Method by which the quilt is made and not the location where it is made. The design is appliquéd, using the hidden or “blind” stitch onto the background material that is then quilted with a ripple or echo pattern. Any pattern can be custom made and personalized to suit your unique style... at no extra cost! We do have quilts in stock but most of the bedspreads shown on this page have to be special ordered.
